9) Requirements:

● Being a member of an indigenous people of the Americas;
● Have graduated in law from an officially recognized university (attach copy of degree and grades obtained);
● Have received a degree in law after January 2002 ;
● demonstrable professional interest in the area of \u200b\u200bhuman rights, preferably in the field of indigenous peoples' rights;
● Fluent Castilian (knowledge of other official languages \u200b\u200bof the OAS is desirable);
● Present a paper of up to five pages are not edited by another person, on a topic of interest to the candidate in the field of indigenous peoples' rights;
10) Benefits:
● The OAS will provide:
1. allowance of $ 2,800.00 per month in total during the period covered by the fellowship, or U.S. $ 11,200.00 for 4 months.
