Sex is a clear biological difference between women and men. Determines the physical characteristics and human beings are born asexual.
Gender is a social concept, refers to the roles or responsibilities that societies and cultures attributed to certain people because they are women and men.

This measure allows us to avoid isolation and marginalization in projects targeting women those who did not increase their independence, empowerment. This equality therefore means, the law, equal rights, opportunities (access to productive resources, human capital, wages ...) the empowerment of women ...
still a long way to go but it is true that something is being achieved. Let us thus concienciémonos all so we can get real equality .
