Event Structure

This version of the V Chair Ignacio Martín Baró has a line of reflection and discussion topics, organized in three thematic tables and a partnership meeting, accompanied cultural activities designed to share a multicultural space living: traditional craft shows, forums and closing concert documentary, among others.
Line Reflection and Discussion
consists of four thematic panels and a partnership meeting.
Each of the tables are built around a problem, and are intended to provide a particular look on it from different perspectives. Each table is composed of actors from academia and leaders or representatives of social organizations, and considers a time for individual presentations and a conversation with the audience.
Between one and another table, are considered rest areas that allow for conversation and meeting participants.
For its part, the Collaboration meeting aims given as a meeting place to explore and delineate potential joint working relationships around ideas of common interest between those participants of the Chair who are interested in developing joint projects or other partnerships.

Its aim is to provide a sense of social psychology comes in the life and work of
Ignacio Martín Baró, and the manner in which the Chair seeks to continue this work in its different versions

Table 2: Chile and Chilean society since the original peoples
Through the testimony of representatives of various peoples, in this table will be a reflection on the possibilities of cultural coexistence in Chile that respects and values \u200b\u200bthe wealth cultural diversity of indigenous peoples. What does the Chilean society from experience and experience of persons as members of indigenous peoples? What can you tell us about how to deal with the challenge to create a society where their different cultural tributaries can live together and facilitated their right to participation and cultural reproduction?
Table 3: Chile and Chilean society from migrants
It aims to provide a look of Chile and Chilean society from the perspectives of people who have migrated to Chile with a view to settle.
Table 4: Multiculturalism in Chile and right
The objective of this roundtable is to discuss the conditions from the point of view of the right to
Chile can be a multicultural society.

Partnership Meeting
For the constitution of the workshop, stakeholders may register for the Chair, completing a form available for it.

Cultural Activities Throughout the day there will be an exhibition of traditional crafts of various indigenous peoples of Chile, and a sample of the Embassy of Colombia in Chile provided a photographic exhibit by the NGO Germina Knowledge for Action.
